2021 – dimensions variable
Two tape players in conversation, both playing what is on their three minute loop of tape while simultaneously recording the output of the other. The tapes each contain half of the text and as they play the first round the text is complete, recited my the combination of the machines. As time goes on the text is layered repeats and recoding are added atop of the previous layers. Eventually the as time passes the sound turns more atmospheric, layered with the sounds of the room and viewers. Only small echoes of the original text are legible.
