Electric Duality is a multi-media performance where the performers deal with questions concerning perception and projection of self while on dis- play, observed by a number of CCTV cameras. He is then encompassed by his image and the feedback from the cameras and screens. Additionally, the performer is mic’ed and as he makes sound it is processed in real time by a modular synthesizer. These dynamically generated rhythms and sounds comprise the music. The performer then is dealing with with the entrapment of his image and his voice, the performance is him dealing with the reality and pushing the boundaries of these systems.
